We have an absolute cracker of a WMF U23 World Cup final in store later, Czechia will face off against their neighbours, Slovakia, in a repeat of the 2018 final which Czechia won in a hard fought game.
Czechia overcame Azerbaijan in their semi final, 4-1, and will go into tonight’s final as slight favourites but Slovakia are also unbeaten after overcoming an excellent Serbian team who led 4-2 with 3 minutes to go, only to concede with the final action of the game, an header at the far post.
That meant extra time and after a tense 10 minutes, it was Slovakia who made it through with a late winner and will look to exact revenge on Czechia for that 2018 final.
